Heart’s Door

There’s a moment when doubt stopped by the door of my heart, it was closely followed by fear.

They both knocked and waited; confidence was inside and a bit shaken. Hope also began to wane.

Then the Holy Spirit stood up and told the heart, ‘Pray!’

Prayer was intense bringing, goodness, love, peace, joy, comfort and steadfastness.

It brought back the power that the heart had forgotten was there. Strength and fortitude also returned.

Doubt and fear turned away finding no way in.

Thank God for Prayer locks in His goodness, love, joy and peace in the hearts of those who will trust and depend on Him.
